Golden Ponds

i was wondering if its better to take ur own gear. what gear should i use. im taking my small rod for trout etc but iu read barramundi and its got me thinking ill need heaveir stuff

 I went to a pond full of barra just out of darwin.  They were huge buggers. Soon as they sucked in your pellet..they ran straight for the airater pole in the middle of the water, and busted you off. It was good fun trying to slow them down as they were all 1m jobs.

No Barra

Dont think there are any barra in the ponds at the moment matey.Too cold.I'm pretty sure they have moved the trout to the barra pond. Only need light gear for the trout and bream.

There are barra in the trout pond at the moment they are quite large and you pay by the kg if you want to keep them
