Now that was a pretty boring start. Not fast flowing at all as was expected.

I thought I'd hate the crowd
I thought I'd hate the crowd noise but it was a white noise that filled a void kinda like having my bedroom ceiling fan on in the middle of winter.
Good to see that amidst all the upheaval and social and economic changes that some things remain the same. Stephen Hawking could have held a lead longer than Collingwood.

Crowd noise was better than
Crowd noise was better than expected.
Shortened quarters is rubbish though. Could understand if they were playing 2-3 games a week to catch up.

Na no creek too much work on. Watched some of that crap uncle and well done to the suns. switched on and ready to play, Eagle didn't look like they wanted to be there.
Watched a bit of the other games and don't think i will be watching much until the crowds are back, must be hard for the players with no atmosphere.

Was very surprised and disappointed to see the result. No excuses really and our boys need to improve on that sort of form quick smart, or as Skull mentioned it could be a tough season coming up for the Eagles.

Good thing about that is they weren't on the G where the GF WILL be played.....
The big thing for me a part from the Eagles getting a pasting was how shit are Melb and Carl!!
Not sure what is worse, Melb giving up a 42 point lead to win by 1 or Carl allowing Melb to get off the chain by 42, come back and still fucking lose by 1...
