Canning Bridge or the Yacht Clubs would definately be a goer. Keep an eye on the tide times for peak fishing activity. We haven't had any really strong rains yet so I'd say the bigger blackies won't have come down the river yet, but I would like for you to prove me wrong. :)))

We were meant to go fishing this morning, but the prospect of 4 degrees, 20-25knt north easterlies and the skipper having the sniffles ruined that prospect. :(

Well, I was always under the impression when the rain hit the upper streams and get the river flowing strongly the blackies would move down into the lower reaches around Mosman Bay and Freshie Yacht Club. Dunno if it's still the case with the way the river is.

Are you fishing from a boat or shore?

fishing from shore under the bridge mate, hopefully something will bite because i am going out after just goin down for a 2 hour fish.

For a couple of hours? you beta get a peak time right my friend.... Opposite side of under bridge car park has a nice drop off but you need to walk around the corner to Aq. colledge ways. GOOD LUCK ATB MAXY
