Hey, just wondering if anyone knows of a good charter out of Exmouth for a days bottom fishing, we are looking at going up for a quick trip and don't want to bring oour own boats up this time. Any help would be great. Thanks.

charter
g'day mate,
only went on one charter out of exxy that wasn't overly impressed with. I've always made the drive down to coral bay to head out on either of the charters down there. the drive has always been worth it.
but some of the other boys on here mite be able to comment on some of the exxy charters.

no frills
Only two times on a charter in exmouth have always been with terry maxwell on the osso blue. no frills, no crap, not a pretty boat but thats y i rate it as one of the best charters i've been on just a fishing boat plain and simple with a max of i think 6 or 8 passengers min of 4. only thing is they prefer handlines and also have alveys but u can take your own gear, that said last charter it was us with the flash stuff and them with the handlines and they raped us.
Heard some stories on other boats up there some average some bad but terry delivered each time for us. plenty of fish the last charter saw GT(in my profile pic) 3 mackies, 7 big eye tuna, a red,2 coral trout,4 queenies(in 30m of water strangley) barracuda, heaps of spanglies and trevally and 4 rankins all between 3 of us and the skipper. Heaps of trolling in between the bottom stuff even got to set the spreads and drive the boat while the skipper kicked back haha had a ball!

if thats the older lookin aluminium boat, and he takes his kelpie or blue healer dog out with him then i highly recommend that guy too. we had a killer day on it.
did go out for two days fishing on a big name boat up there, about 7 years ago, and wasnt impressed.

osso
Theres a few in town. Osso Blue (Terry) has a pretty good rep but as the boys say, the boats nothing special. Theres Ningaloo Fusion, (decent boat) but I'm not too sure about the guy that runs it, haven't heard many good reports. Then the other major one is Blue H****** and it depends on what sort of mood he is in, if he wants to get you fish, then you'll do well, if he cbf'd, then your in for a shit day.

Osso Blue
We are heading up to Exy in April and we just boked with Terry, he is an awesome bloke and will be happy to accomodate you if he can. We are taking our own boats but for a bit of a break we are heading out on osso blue for a few days.
www.ningaloopearls.com.au is his website and there is everything you need to know on there mostly...
I have fished on Blue **** and the expreience was very similar to the experiences noted by the other guys.
