Dual Mount Hitch for Bikes

Has anyone used one of these dual hitch ball mounts with a bike carrier and their boat? It’s an absolute PITA getting all 5 bikes into the boat and I am looking for an option to whack the adult ones on a carrier and these look like a pretty good option if they are legal to use.

You could always sell the kids and get a bigger boat though......:D
