day 2 fishing in Coral Bay

Well day 2 and still 20 plus knots backing off in the afternoon around 4.00pm

Cruised out around 10.30 and managed a couple of small Rankins. Wind turned North and the bite went off. Not much over the next couple of hours but when the wind dropped we managed a couple of fish. A nice Red, a pearly, a nice sized Cobia (released) and a NW snapper. went down well as a green curry fish !

Looking for the wind to drop tomorrow to get amongst them.

I'm with Bruce on that one

I'm with Bruce on that one whilst they do cook up well, they are also big slimey stinkin things with lots of blood lines in them. I would rather add reds trout and such things to the bag but that's just my thoughts on that

Hey Rob, let the Cobes go as I'm not a big fan at that size. Smaller ones Ok but as short fuse says, I'd rather fil up on reds etc - are you coming up to Waroora or the Bay ?

Laneo, yes mate picked up a couple in 72 now. I'll try 90's soon as that is my preferred depth for them, if no show then back to the 70's
