Circle Hooks

Anyone using these? The latest Mullas we've been catching tend swallow the bait and the hook right down, end up having to re-rig so want to give circles a go as i've heard many benifits. Which brand make the best? Will also be giving them a go on some Snapper and other bottom feeders.

always used the smaller
always used the smaller tainawa (spelling) hooks myself for bottom bouncing as you pick up kg and black bums on the smaller hooks .. caught plenty of 20+ kilo dhu's with them and sambo's to over 40kg and never had one straighten running up to 90lb braid ... for mulla's you might want to go bigger but the smaller ones will do the job with ease.

Maybe try something like a Gama Occy Circle or Big bait circle.

Owner
I use Owner Circle hooks, when bottom fishing with a larger bait (on 1 dropper and a different hook/snelled hooks on another). Very nice hooks, although seems as though the price has gone up about $20 a pack (I am sure I paid $27 and now they are $45'ish).
