canoe fishing in the swan
Submitted by fisho-ron on Mon, 2010-04-26 16:06
this is my son and his cousin fishing in the swan today, dropped them off at 8am and picked them up at 2pm, they didnt get a lot but reported a couple of nice size bream and a lot of small ones (returned of course).
good exercise for a couple of boys playing footy and keeping them out of trouble.
i offered to take them out in the big boat but they decided to canoe instead.

I've got the same kayak.
I've got the same kayak. Cheap as chips and unsinkable. Caught a bucket of herring out off Cott on it on Sat and took it night-diving/crabbing with my little bro on it last night in Albany. Will be using it on spaniards out off quobba mid-year. Who says you need to pay a fortune to have a functional fishing yak?

they are the bcf cheapies and i think they do well for what they are.
i have used them myself at rotto in some choppy stuff and they were ok, i think the big buck ones would be better, but we bought these just to muck around on.
my boys and there mates use them quite often and thats what it is all about.
cheers ron
