Agreed, it is awesome conditions today. Last we will see for a while I think but hey; we have had a great run so far.
Cruised to Flatrock today mainly just to let the dog loose. Poor bastard..he gets so demanding after a working week. I burleyed up (yes; Spess special brew) and there was lots of movement in close. I hitched up a small rig and garfish were running a muck. Not so small either. I bagged a dozen or so and then got stuck into a few Herring while I was there. Nothing else, I was late.
I have never seen so many people there. Maybe they all know it's going to get rough and are making the most of last moments for a while.
One thing I shouldn't laugh about but I will. A head crazed trail biker flattened it up the beach and hey, off he came. A huge cloud of sand and he didn't move for a while. many watched caringly as he slowly got up and crawled back to wherever he came from. Probably a sickie tomorrow I recon.
