Just the thought
I just cant get over the picture in my mind of the van Staal (esp Gold) hanging off the 6 wt fly rod. And how would you use it! I have used a 8 wt with a small 1000 bream reel to catch herring and taylor just for the "bend in the rod" look and it was fun. Just worried about the cast with a burley blob/cage so gave up. No use snapping a bling rod for something it was never intended to do.
