advice wanted please - bream & redfin

hey just wanted some advice,
taking the dinghy out on sunday morning on the river with a couple of mates and wanted to know where the bream are biting at the moment. We were thinking of launching from point walter boat ramps and visiting a few yacht clubs around there. Would they be in that area at the moment or further up/down riveR?
Also, a mate of mine recently bought some new kit and was wanting to test it out weekend after this one. Can anybody tell me any places (within a couple of hours) near perth where we can try for redfin perch? shore or boat-based both are okay. Thanks guys.

cant help with the redfin but me and a mate were fishing around garvey park and pulled in 10 with 6 beking over 30cm. hardest fighting bream i have had in awile.

a bream on thursday
caught a 27cm black bream (released) on thursday had heaps of big bites aswell at the graham farmer bridge.
