GT's and flat water - Cairns
Submitted by scuttlebutt on Mon, 2007-11-05 20:37.
Out on the water again today and got into some more GT's. Water was flat as a pool table - marvellous. (ps: the gash in the side is from the lure)

Another cracking fish. What pound leader are you using and what depth of water? Do you have to change your leader after each fish?

Thanks guys, I feel very lucky to be able to catch some nice fish in such perfect conditions.
Adam I'm using 60lb braid with 130lb leader. I don't change the leader very often - depends if it gets scuffed. The other week I caught more than a dozen GT's like that without changing my leader once. Water depth is between 30ft and 70ft (bommies).
