Yes, well, video 1 is a tribute to Shizz, if he wasn't his knot slipping, it was his jig losing others fish, then dropping them on bait. He does well to come back and get a few fish in part 2, not sure if I got them on film thou. :))) We'll have to wait and see.

Ah the fun of braid and multiple hookups ... At one point there was 9 rods in a row in the water, with me at the end... and I was just praying I'd hook onto a BIG one, with 50lb braid that would have been hilarious.

Nothing really big that day. I think the actual 'landing of fish' took a seat to the antics of 'nofish rodlicking' scott and 'ileftthehookcoveron' neals (who still managed to get more than scot) and the various gear on display.

give it two more months and we'll all have more than our fair share of fish and sore arms ;)

Ah, the monster of the derwent, I still remember it too, as it fought like nothing I have ever encountered... I won't list the 'maybes', but it was pretty heavy ;) Just a big stubbon bugger that didn't heeeeaps of line, or run very fast, but jsut sat down there and sulked all the way up.

When someone said "shizz did it" it was a joke. My line wasnt on yours so id appreciate if you dont keep saying i lost your fish.

Sorry Shizz, it seems that I have taken the 'make Shizz the scapegoat thing' joke bit too far. In no ways did you snap me off, I didn't lose a single jig on the day. At the most our lines touched, but that was the same with everyone else. I don't honestly blame you for anything, its a bit hard to tread the thin line between a joke and an all out accusation, and obviously, doing it on the net makes it worse. Seems I have tread on the wrong side. No need for bad words, bad manners on my part, sorry.

I hope this matter is clarified, and no hard feelings. Again I apologise, if this joke has been taken out of context by me. When I dropped my 2nd fish, (which had nothing to do with you), i think adam mentioned in jest that i had caught the 'shizz disease', or something to that effect, and i just took it from there; a bit too far of course.

Nah no more comment from me about lost fish, this was a new technique (jigging with rod in bucket) so I'm not sure what went wrong. Probably to do with me having the line too slack.

Dodgy 'hook setting', thats for sure. Still, better practice now, and be prepared when the big ones hit, I guess ;)
