Top fish Kletch. Free floater in 20m or less me thinks. Those snelled hook set ups with a whole scaly mackerel work a treat.

Nup, came from 70m off a bottom rig, we went through a decent school of them with me catching the runt of the litter and Kletch taking the beast that didn't want to give up all the way to the top. I was using scalies all day and nothing really seemed interested - which came as quite a suprise to me. Soon as the squid-mulie combination went on, combined with the wind drop when the bite began to happen.

Oh and yes it was the indestructible spheros, gots to get mine beefed up now.

We have been using the squid/ mulie baits out deep for a while and I must say it works VERY WELL, half a small squid with 3 to 7 mulies threaded thru the eye and down it goes , doesn't take long for a fish to have a go at it .

After 14 weekends straight looking after up to 9 fishers I have got my twisted droppers down pat can whip one up in around 90 seconds .

Surgeons knot , 2 twisted droppers and a surgeons for the sinker , bang 90 secs.

mmm... yeah Al can save you years in knot tying experience just by watching him once, doesn't he? =)
