Could be the area it was taken out of. More coral and less grass??

We had this debate a while back

For a while I was calling them venus tusk fish but I was assured that they are in fact baldchins.

Have to agree after reading a few ID books.

Cheers

they must have been out on the coral with the colour of the baldy. Itd be a male as well. the female are more of a pink colour out on the coral. Always a good idicator of what ground you are on with their colour. The dhui is lite in colour to so definately not hard craggy bottom.

Yeah defently baldie! You get them that colour round more corally reef systems. Bit like jurien bay around the reefs they are like that and when you hit limestone they go back to greenish. Span me out first time i got them like that.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
