Hubbie uses reefer master winches with molded fiji, if tides running at least 4lb sinker to hold bottom, don't use nylon line it'll stretch, 200metres at least 400 metres on winch line,i f tides a pig, hubbie's secret start motor on spot and he's got some bloody good fish doing that when tides been running more than a knot.  Me spewie lewie has fished in 3 metre swell, up and down nice and gentle, guess what I didn't you know what, caught a nice dhui to boot but that was in Leeman.

Swell normally isn't too

Swell normally isn't too much of an issue out there.

More so the current/tide and the wind itself, Makes it hard to hold bottom.

the swell isn't an issue out

the swell isn't an issue out there as long as the wind isn't cranking!
