Cockburn Power Boats Assn Inc

Thinking of joining the Cockburn Power Boats Association as I can imagine the costs for launching your boat at the public ramp there in the near future. I spoke to a member who has been there for a long time and got some costs for joining and he said he would nominate me, very kind I thought. Would be around a year to get in.
Just wondering if anybody on this site is a member or knows of somebody who is. Any info would be great guys n gals.
Cheers Maxy

Yeah
thanks fellas. It's my fathers rig so he'll pay pensioners discount ($121) I think then for a full membership another $242 and I might pay $60 for a social membership just so I can use the facilities like a shower and a drink etc.
We've been launching from the pubic ramp for about 20+ years now so I think we should do it.

Definately worthwhile Maxy
You wont regret it. When I was a member years ago, they had a ramp commodor, kept things moving, tidy and organised! Not sure if they still do, current FW CPBA members will tell you.

Yeh i've been a member for 13 years i'd say and well worth the money. I'm guessing, but i think for a standard member its something like $400 for the first year then $220 per year there after (excluding pensioners discount etc)
The club & facilities are good and the menbers have alot more ediquette so less stress and less idiots....
