Why we can't go spearing at the moment

Why we can't go spearing at the moment

Another dead whale about 10km south of town in the spearing country.  So not only do we have tigers to the north from the first whale, we've got a shipload of tigers to the south.  Pretty risky business in the water at the moment. :(

oh well , thats the way it goes Adam. just think of the posotives, the sharks will be well fed so when you can go fishing you might get to keep the whole fish not half of it

disappear

It will disappear with the sharks and tides pretty soon.  Doesn't take long for them to go, definately no point removing them.  This one was relatively small as well, 7m odd.

Beware the "Taxman"

Sun, 2009-11-01 16:34

Check out this link on our Great Whites, one shark was sent down to Mossel Bay in the Cape where a British film crew are doing a story on sharks in S.A. waters. There was a fatal attack in Mossel Bay earlier this year! When i dive i see lots of sharks, there is even a dive "Shark Bonanza" once per year in October where the object is to film sharks underwater, but the Great White scares the ?hit out of me!

Take care out there!

Flungy.

On the news last night they said the carcass of a Whale was up off Mindarrie, just north of Perth near Eglington rocks,so I assume the toothy critters will not be far away, not happy as that not far from my cray spots.Undecidedjersey
