Reward for effort

Really hard graft on the salmon front today. Covered a lot of k's in the morning with only one nice bonito on the troll to show for it. Eventually found some small pods of salmon busting up on the surface but they were only there for about 30 seconds and then they went down again. Very frustrating, finally hooking a good fish only to have the hooks straighten on the tango dancer (6kg tackle).

Seabreeze then started blowing up hard so we started trolling back to the ramp, with our trip pleasantly interrupted by my eldest daughters PB salmon. Very solid fish that really tested her fish fighting skills. Couple of pics and then the fish swam away strongly. Be back tomorrow to give it another crack.

John
