na the conc use to stop a metre or so short of the jetty with a little drop down about 10cm witch was handy when the water was low as you could carefully put ya trailer over this edge andback ya car right down to it .i think this is what the shire tried to fix .dumping a heap of rock down there then covering it all with weld mesh.which has got caught on motor legs and been lifted .causeing flat tryres and the like .but only when the tide is a low low .as far aqs i know anyway
