One for Deepwater, the Nelson boys with their whiting bag

Took the Nelson boys for a whiting fish a few mornings ago, we kept 15 and released more, all on stickbaits and poppers in 20cm of water. Pretty good way to start the day when the wind cancels out any boating.

Nice work Tim, must have been fun on stickbaits and poppers. The ones in front look pretty decent size too. I have a few tiny poppers and a ultralight bream rod that would be awesome fun for that. Might have to set aside a day next time i'm up in exmouth just for that. Relatively easy to get whiting like that on poppers on the right day, or a bit hit and miss?

or you may have given the area away.I heard you have been having some fun with the skinny water popping.
Nice bag and always a very good way to start the day.Hope it all starts to fire for you.It will be time to come back to reality before you know it.You could always go shopping for a house while you are there.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

thank you very much there lucky Tim the boys loved it,they where a little hard to start but they got going ok ,Alex is still telling me he has got whiting on poppers and i have"nt just yet
