sometimes you don't know what you catch will be hard to beat, I was only 19 (now 60) when I was up near false Entrance near Steep point , we struck a school of fish just in casting range, I got 2 Tailor my mate got one and his brother missed out because he could not cast past the school to get the big Halco twisties swimming thru the school, after like 40 more trips up there I never managed another Tailor over the old 10lb mark and the first 2 tailor I ever caught went 18.5 and 19 lb, I thought I would be able to get into fish that big again but alas we never saw them again. I think there is a pic of them in my photos on here.

My old man took a picture of Hal Harvey with a 20 pounder from the same spot.

But they came from somewhere hardly anyone knew of let alone fished there , so your dads big tailor is a big acheivement WELL DONE. (Even better if it's a metro fish as we don't see many large fish like that)
