Approach the size of the New Cal Trout that one. That does look like a bucktail jig in its mouth. When you say caught on SP did you mod the bucktail and use it as a jighead, or am I just plainly dumb.

Definatley brought a smile to my face especially when it was bigger the the fish size sticker on the boat! It was caught on one of the williamson banjo eye's with a gulp grub on it. Will hopefully get a few other pics up of the trip when i get a bit of time.
Caught in Denham on a charter. That one looks way over 7.55kg. Was in 2002..

Edit: After PMs with Steve231 thought we would look up the All Australian record 15.5kg, Centipede Reef FNQ 7/6/1981. Dont know if its near the Aus record, but mate its a whopper.
Thanks brucesta. I am still not sure because if it is a bar cheek this fish is by miles the biggest barcheek caught that I know about. For that the record is 6.715ks (both WA and Australian), and this would annihilate that.
Also so far Im lined up for something tomorrow. If things change I will call you as I would like to go for a sesh. I think barty would just have to say that he has caught the biggest ever trout weighed or seen in WA. mega trout from ere waters.

I'm guessing Bar Cheek as the few spots under it's eye are rather elongated and all the trout i catch are bar cheek at the moment anyway, all taste fantastic regardless!!!
