They can be hit and miss. I've had some come up great (on par with spaniard, but little less firm), but then some come up with a bit of an offputting smell/taste. I think if you bleed them really well and slurry them you impove the chances, but this one was treated right but didnt come out great. Perhaps I need to overcook it a bit?
I get a bit sick over the taste if its not a good one though, so debating whether to keep any more. Family and friends still like it though, so doesnt go to waste either way.
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
