His first decent fish

So we went down to Maylands today and took off down to South Perth foreshore for some lunch. After that, went back up the river to my favourite spot near the Causeway and got my little boy to have a go catching a fish. To his utter delight, he hooked a just legal size black bream after a couple of casts. The concern on his face was because he was afraid the fish would die if we kept it out of the water any longer.
When I suggested we keep it and have it for dinner tonight, he said no, I don't want to eat a fish that I have to kill!! There is logic there somewhere, lol.
I think he was hooked though. Another one who will be addicted to fishing for life.
