Friday morning

Friday morning

Woodies ramp 8.30am Good Friday morning. Weather looks mint, jealous as!
Apparently beach carparks all along the coast are chokkers aswell.
Rumours WA might be a guinea pig state to relax some of the Covid related rules that were recently bought in. What does everyone think might happen after this weekend? Obviously not a great look from the outside

That photo sends a clear message to the authorities that many fishos deem fishing as essential travel.  It is time for the WA Gov to get off the fence.

The premier pretty much gave people the green light yesterday to get out and about in his daily presser. Just keep you distance. Good luck with that .

As said the beaches are packed, boat ramps full. Yep needs to get off the fence.

Thank you

You self centred swine,  just goes to show ,you how many boaties give a damn about fellow members of society , if the shires were looking for an excuse to shut the ramps they have been handed one On a plate as has the state government.

Trust the public to do the right thing in this situation, what a joke.

If the government brings out a decree that all ramps are to be closed they will be called all sorts of things and these caring upstanding members of society will only have themselfs to blame.

Well done you selfish swine

Obviously no one in that crowd has or knows anyone with Covid-19, it was never going to be a couple of boats going out over easter it was always going to be 1 in all in. Not Surprised.

and the government expect everyone to be at work to keep things ticking over and pay for the stimulus package etc and on top of that the government is asking for retired medical staff to come back to work. Over 65 group being high risk another mixed message

I remember my Tax return

Sat, 2020-04-11 19:12

I remember my Tax return getting raped two years in a row after the GFC...this when liberal took over from Labours spending. not looking forward to the aftermath of this.

Not sure we're all these billions have come from...fuk all for the fires and other issues.

By far a massive issue to our country don't get me wrong...but I'm thinking some of this spending is too late with our current numbers. Bloody lucky we are..

Wasn't that part of the job keeper legislation they passed a couple of nights ago? Extra couple of percent on the income tax rate as part of a recovery fund.

Yep, get ready for the biggest tax hike in history. They've been setting up for this for years, thresholds have been diminished substantially over the past 10 years so get used to 60% if you're in the 'Top bracket' - which will be anyone with a job. Meanwhile they're spending billions of our dollars to keep the already unemployed voters happy to keep voting liberal (Labor is no better BTW).

It's either full lockdown, or people are allowed to be sensible.

ill assume that everyone was boating with immediate family members or with only 1 other in the boat (like we did yesterday- had two boats out with two people on each boat - both fathers and sons- either boat could have taken all 4).

I'll also assume all boats were fishing for some sort of food or exercising (diving) or both. I'm sure there would be some exceptions though

assuming everyone was being sensible, until it is full lockdown then nothing wrong with it at all

no different to people going for a walk along the coast or around a park.

maybe I'm just another self centred swine

Was going to go for a sunset

Sun, 2020-04-12 03:10

Was going to go for a sunset fish last night but turned around and went home. The beaches were still packed from Hillarys to Ocean Reef and virtually every car spot full excfept for Nodes. Same at sunrise at Burns Beach with people every where. Would like to get a line wet, but not keen on adding to the problem.

One thing I did notice is there were several groups of young blokes drinking piss in the Ocean Reef carpark.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a spike in cases in the next few weeks. You can bet your bottom dollar that the same selfish pricks that are doing what they like will be the first ones to whinge about lack of facilities if we run out of treatment facilities.
