Fin

Saw the flying fish pic & thought I would show we also got some of them on Sunday, just they were half digested in these.

That defines the definition of blood on the decks, coupla rippa fish mate. Much else out there? assuming this was in the deep stuff.

Part of a 4 way hook up, but with only 2 on board dropped the other 2. Lures that was 1 of the 2 big lures on the riggers & a small xmas tree & micro uzi on the corners. Was utter madness for a few minutes out at the trench.

If that's Metro then that photo and tales of four way hook up is going to get people excited. I'm guessing back of Rotto??

I'm guessing about 15-18kgs. Quality fish by the looks of them. Definately good enough to put up with crappy weather.

Wellcraft 232 Coastal

Is this the sort of boat You did go to the trench on and caught the Tuna's?

23 feet long

Yes glastronic that is

Tue, 2011-11-22 19:22

Yes glastronic that is exactly like my boat (well a few years older then mine), not sure exactly what you mean but if your suggesting to far she carries 430L of fuel mate for about 400KM range & been out plenty further than 60k & in worse conditions. Best handling hull I have ever been in without being biased. We were over 80km out @ 1 stage Sunday.

Spot on Soupster both Yellow Fin, Shorter Fatter 1 went 14.7kg & longer slimmer 1 went 14.6kg.

Yeah Cahal we stopped for a spot of jigging @ the southern barge on the way out waiting to see what the wind would do, had 3 big hook ups but sharked so went trolling.

No sugestion at all, one can

Tue, 2011-11-22 21:41

No sugestion at all, one can do what one thinks his craft is capable of doing.

I am trying to weigh up if my boat is safely able to do the same on it's own or better in a group of similair / bigger crafts.

Great from you to post this and to read and see the Tuna caught!.

Too easy mate, all about knowing & being comfortable with your vesel's & skippers capabilities. Also knowing it is 100% reliable not having nigeling little issues if going out that far.
