The photo looks suss. I've fished out of 1770 in qld, some of the reds caught there are massive! 17kg 96cm long is the biggest I've seen. If it is real I could only imagine the fight it would put up. I wonder how many big ones have been broken off thinking they were sharks.

I saw a guy with a youtube channel catching these red monsters in qld, got to try find it again, but they def get that big over there.

I think its the real deal
Have heard of +20 , when they get big they go very round like a soccor ball and very think/chunky.
