less than 2 miles off Mindarie and got my 1st Dhuie 10 kg. I was a very happy chappy

Thanks, the worst of it was I slipped on the boat and copped the gaff through the side of my calf going in about 50mm, then got to the boat ramp and had a $100 fine for not displaying ticket even though there was one. I was still happy but

Nice catch. Not bad at all for your first. Pitty bout the gaff and fine though. You should be able to get out of the fine if you can proove you had a legit ticket.

Took the fine to the shire and they removed the fine when I showed the valid ticket.
They were very good about it.
