Yesterday off Cape Nat

Got out for a fish yesterday with Lamby and Dave. Conditions were pretty good considering the weather we have had in the past few days.
Fished some ground I haven't touched in a good 6 months and it wasn't too long before we had our bag of dhuies. Daves was caught on a SP and mine on a fresh cuttlefish candle.
Next was to try and find a few nannies out wider. Couldn't find any nannies but the pink snapper were thick in places. Caught them on jigs and bait, most were released but a few made it into the esky. Liam with one of many double headers.
Got home pretty late so the filleting was left for the next day. Daves two boys enjoyed checking out the catch while we cleaned them.

Dam! and I was thinking of
Dam! and I was thinking of doing the Capes on Saturday but decided to stay in Bunghole. Still got Dhu & KG's but not as good as your catch. Well done! A lot of folks here went for a night fish last night and cleaned up on big Dhuies and Snapper.

Solid fish, those pinks are way bigger than our metro deep water ones. We're lucky to get them over 65cm, with most around 50-55.
