yakamito j-series squid jigs

Was in my local Compleat Angler store the other day (Rockingham,,i wanted a companion to my harmitsu in the purple colour,,i was looking at a Pink one in case the squid wernt going for purple some days,,anyway Mark there gave a good deal on the above jig and asked for some feedback on how they go,,

Bad news Mark throw then out,no good ,,the squid in the pics are paid actors and so is the kayaker,,,someone might suggest the paid actor got his limit in a hour and a bit,,this might be true Wink

I don't think my mate was

I don't think my mate was using it correctly i was not taking much notice,,i find when they are shy the better quality ones can come up trumps on the day plus the fabric does not fall off like the cheapos can do.

Funny i was winding it in really fast at one stage to recast at a good looking weed patch and i saw two brown objects moving along next to it,,i was amazed it was squid and they were keeping up with it,,they must be fast swimmers,,no wonder you hear of folks catching them on trolling lures sometimes.
