I have been looking to get away from my (angler rod assassin 24kg - broom stick) which i run a TLD25 on. Catching big reds and north rankin cod up at coral bay in 80meters just gets a bit hard on the old back

I have been looking at T - Curve 400 24kg / Fin nor 50lb / or ugly stick / or Silstar power tip bluewater

I still like a bit of grunt in the butt, and are looking for a beeter ratio reel to get them home

Any suggestions appreciated, cheers spend $500 - $600
