What's you favourite Metal Slice?

Hey Fellow Fisho's,

I'm just wondering whats everyone's favourite metal lures. I love my Halco Twisties from 10g - 30g on the light gear and boy I catch everything on them well species that you get in the metro.

Species I caught on them (I actually have a diary):
- Herring        - Skippy
- Flathead       - Blue Mackerel
- Tailor           - Yellowtail
- Small Pinky (35cm)

Thats it on my trusty Halco Twisties.

Thanks guys for sharing.

Cheers...
Jangles

For me, it's what's my prefered metal for the location and fish. All lures have different weights and actions that will make all the difference in getting fish.

Spanyid maniac's-shallow reef fishin for salmon/tailor both l/b & b/base
Spanyid raiders-l/b beach & rocks for salmon/tailor/YTK etc
Halco twisty and javlin spoon- for l/b & b/base herring/chopper tailor/snook etc

those maniac metals that ryan mentioned would have to be the most productive tailor and salmon lure i have ever used..21g & 30g have the best action IMO!
another good metal is the TT metal slice in 30g, a small bullet type metal which produces very well.
love spinnning metals, one of my fav forms of fishing!

cheers

Agree samC about the maniacs......when i went to phucket i brought over hundred of them and rate them highly! 17gm, 21gm and 30 are dinamite on lots of different fish.....ive even had pinkies nail them in shallow water when slowly jigged up and down. Great action.

Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!
