we all know what live bait are good, but what wont you use? I caught 2little wrasses last weekend that were the perfect size for live baiting on the bottom only to be told id be wasting my time? So has anyone caught anything substancial on a live bait they didnt think would work so well?

I won't use spanish flag
They are great live bait but after a marine biologist told me that a perfect size bait is about 15 to 20 years old and a large one version could be 40 years old.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

Thy are fantastic bait
i just cant pin a hook through one after that day.I now never use live bait as there are far more options now that are more thinking and action related instead. My biggest mackies have come from rigged mullet and stickbaits.
