weather!! And your favourite photos!
Ola guys and girls
Just keeping you posted with the news from 'ol Blighty. Got meself a trip to the river Ebro in Spain booked for October 2010, fishing for carp and catfish from boats. A weeks trip with the promise of carp upto 40lb and similar with the cats! Whether you love em or hate em they fight well and fishing for them can be a great crack!
The weather here now is no better, the snow melted a few days ago, and since then it has rained, so the rivers are now really ruined, cold icy water, plus the muddy rain water from the fields has really knackered them. So I thought i would start up a thread of your better fishing shots, not necessarily with fish in, but showing off some of the good, or bad weather that your have experienced.
These are my photos of a sunny time.

Looks great
Looks great Rog! We had our first rain here in 6 months on Saturday. Been having dust storms in the afternoon, lightening over the gulf and had a wind gust come through on friday afternoon that lasted 5 minutes but musta been pushing 80 knots. Then a rain squall came through that was worse than the cat 1 cyclone that we had directly over head last year. Apart from that, nice Exxy weather, going blowly this week though. Oh and we had a 49 degree day the other day, but you get used to it pretty quick, I like the heat over the cold. :)

Hmm, Nov 2006 was ya last nice sunset over water...doing it tough!
You could have utilised all that snow to create a new member like this bloke Roger;
Chin up son...not long now til summer and you'll be sitting in the water a little like this complaining about ya cricketers....well maybe not (the nice water that is).
Sunset drinks atop Gunlom falls in the south of Kakadu.

Come on Roger - toughen up
Used to do some great fishing for big roach when the Medway was in flood - just a case of walking the banks or rather the river edge as it was usually over the banks and looking for a quieter back eddy with a bit of depth. Usually fished with worms as they were the most natural bait on flooded areas.
Don't miss it mind you having lived in the West for 40 years but could do without the 42.9 C at the moment

i'd take the heat any day.
i'd take the heat any day. All our rivers are drains really, so when they flood they become really peaty and are not reknown roach waters. We are after the pike, which is a no go when the rivers in spate unfortunately, wish I lived near the medway!!
