warroora station

Could anyone help me please with coordinates for gps to get out past the reef at warroora? Not asking for fishing spots of course just getting behind the reef. Any help would be great cheers.

Someone wil come up with the goods mate. Asked the same question about Gnaraloo, Carnarvonite was very helpful.

Are you talking about the passages at 14 mile camp at Warroora? If so theres a real narrow one north of the 14 mile beach opposite turtle rock (not recommended) and a big wide passage in between 14 mile and Sandy Point....sort of just past the big sanctuary markers....can't miss it from land. Sorry no Gps co-ordinates.

Hope that helps

Try Launching further south

Try Launching further south at the Lagoon, it's easier to get out the back but launching can be a little difficult.

Hi jase, have found the GPS mark I used to come through that stretch of reef. I would still sit inside the reef and line up with this mark then sit and watch the water before going through. As I said in my PM to you, catch up with the ranger at 14 mile and get his advice as well.
