Place is still a mess, unfinished repairs, businesses for sale, businesses closed down, the road to Chinaman's is closed(unsafe) the disabled jetty is wrecked, very sad, will only allow 1 pic, black swan cafe

Lots of people living in
Lots of people living in houses with real structural damage there too.
Mates neighbour at Red Bluff needs to have his roof off because all the trusses flexed and pulled the nails and plates out.
On top of that he can't get any tradesmen because there is too much cream work around.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Not good at all to see a town
Not good at all to see a town like that suffering after all this time .
You would think trades would have jumped in and helped out to get the town back up and running like it was. I know there is loads of work out there for trades at the moment but a couple of weeks at a time up there would help out

One food shop is paying
$30 an hour, post office that had surfing gear and fishing gear, downsized to just a post office, the tackle store guy was happy. The tackle store is for sale

Heading up there on Monday with the family for Christmas holidays.
In two minds about it, part of me thinks stuff that! but the other part thinks it will be good to go to support the businesses that are still there.

Was up there last September,
Was up there last September, had a fantastic time. Old school pub with barmaids to suit lol, do the sunset cliff cruise.

I believe the Kalbarri Classic fishing comp has been cancelled
The new fishing ban has hit this long running comp too unfortunately and organisers have cancelled this year at least as a result.
