Unstuck Pot

Quick one from our trip this morning, Thought I post it given the topics of late..

Catching up with forum member (Guy).. Still trying, to relieve a stuck pot at the back of GI. Top bloke and an enjoyable trip.

Was a nice morning for a casual cruise, sorted his pots followed with a quick dive...wasnt much joy with the dive due to the recent weather, basically swimming in a milk shake on medium speed but the need to get salt in my ears was to great to pass up.

Quick squid for no keepers before heading in...Bulk carrier was absolutely belting, but the fisheries boat following was in an even bigger rush.

Guy helping a bloke in a bit of grief at the ramp...shortest bow rope we have ever seen...

Flat head went 48cm...see our it goes in a minute with some fresh garlic Cray.

Cheers Guy.

Cheers Mate,

Was deep under a ledge eyeing some roaches...he Was buried with just a showing of eyes and body outline...just jabbed him with the gun, straight in the bag.

Just finished it off then...light flour cooked in butter.

Thanks Brock for getting that unstuck for me at 11 odd metres it's well out of my depth, I know I'm not the only person who you have helped out on this forum getting things retrieved. You didn't mention that as we passed the fisheries chick at the ramp that you yelled out to her quick fisheries are going that way let's go this way and turned away into the main car park instead of the rigging area, I thought she would come and check us for sure. That carrier was hooting never seen them going that quick through the sound before. Was a nice morning out on the water even if conditions weren't in our favour.

How great looking is that water

In Cockburn Sound, a truly great place to be, when ships are doing that sort of pace they can be right in your space before you know it. Strange looking bow shape, cant say I have seen it before.
Some great feeds coming up with those fillets, thanks for the story and pics.
