I got a Kaiser baas sports

I got a Kaiser baas sports camera from office works for 70 bucks, yet to try it but my mate has got some good footage of sambos smashin trolled live tailor with the camera mounted on the downrigger ball. Waterproof to 20m, upto 3 hrs record time, wide angle lens, records to micro sd has led lighting and can even record upon motion detection. Has a removable bar mount which would allow a strap to be fitted for head mounting I suppose. Cheap enough to try

If you want a camera to go

If you want a camera to go 15m, you'll need a fully waterproof one, i.e. scuba rating. The compact point and shoots tend to have a maximum depth rating of 10m, so an action cam of some sort is the way to go. Head mounting will mean you'll also want a wide angle one like the action cams are (they vary a little on how wide, but they should all be fine for the width). JBhifi have a few diff models, think I saw one at jaycar too. Just gotta have a look around and see what fits your price range and then check some reviews of the quality. The video quality on the cheaper ones wont approach the high end ones.

Second hand (good condition) gopro HD is what I would buy for that sort of money. or just stretch and get a HD3 bottom of the range, and buy the go-pro headstrap for about $15 off ebay
