+1 for Harvey dam . I like it because no power boat are aloud on the dam , so its usualy quiet and peaceful.
Just google it and its not hard to find. check out my video from the last 2 seasons it will give you an idea of the area .

Where about is Golden Pond and Harvey Dam?
golden ponds is Mundijong Road in Baldivis $10 to fish catch an release or $15 a kg to keep ya catch they have bream,silver perch,carp,barramundi in summer ,rainbow trout in winter , an harvey dam is in harvey ...south

Waroona Dam has some good size ex-brood stock. You could always try Drakesbrook as well.

Listening to some of the posts lately you would probably have a better chance of catching a coral trout!
