Transducer on chivers sports fisherman

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has installed a airmar P66 transducer. I've just bought a 588 furuno and installed the transducer as per instructions and I can only get ground up to about 10knts. Anyone had any joy with their install and can get a good reading? Tips please. Cheers herbs

My p66 is buried alot deeper than it says too and a bit more angle than recommended but it holds bottom and 35+ knots so just start by dropping it down in 5mm increments play with angle but only do 1 change at a time
