Took wife out today

While she was sleeping . Missed whale spotting. Missed the lot . Apparently enjoyed herself . Got some thumping squid . 1.4 the biggest . Got a huge sea pike on duo jig . Grandkids loved teeth in it .. 15 squid for 15.8 kg . Very happy . Wife took good picture .

Johnny, similar, I can normally go out fishing, bag out, wash the boat and get home and serve the missus a cup of coffee in bed and she is none the wiser...... Happy days.

just a question if you dont mind?
have heard that the big females will often come in close during winter..
ive never seen really large ones in shallower personally.
Have you found this at all or you still think you need to go deeper to get them?

You still get big
Ones in shallows . Not as many as deeper water .
