Thanks for Sunday

I would like to give a big shout out to Steve and the crew on Boutime for letting us tag along for the day. Whilst no fish were harmed during the day it was still a great day on the water and the first time I have been to rotto and beyond. Hopefully will get back there when some sambo's come out to play. Did see a heap of whales and also a heap of YTK chopping bait but they would not take a raider no matter what size I threw at them. Saw some reallly good ground on the sounder and found a heap of bait but nothing wanted to play.

Spess - i have been picking them up on the northern reefs for the last month. It was my first time down south and I really struggled to find the sort of ground I know is productive out off mindarie and two rocks. DId not see anything on the sounder that looked like a Sambo, just a lot of bait.

Always up for company, but I like Lancelin and north as I find the fishing more than makes up for the extra travel. (I live 45 min from Woodies any way so Lnacelin is only another 15 -25min for me.

Should be some Tuna starting to make a show north of Lano very soon if it is like last year.
