Sunday 15th - Wind
Submitted by Stevef on Fri, 2009-02-13 12:18
Looks as if the forecast for Sunday, which was quite good for a while, has finally returned to recent form .................... and is now sh*thouse.
From BOM
Sunday: NW/SW winds 15/20 knots tending W/SW 15/25 knots in the afternoon
When will this wind settle down? I know that there have been some nice days during the week, however every weekend seems to be blown out
Oh well, I see another day slaving in the garden coming up

Thats an idea, but I live around Mindarie so it is a long drive down.
Would I need to be on the water eraly to have a shot at the pinkies?
Maybe I might just put it in the river and have a slow cruise up Guilford way and work my way through a few cold beers

So southerlies going northerly, then swinging back to south west easterly with a slight breeze from the north...

42 is just the same old same old, you get used to it after 4-5 months, its when it gets to 47 and humid that it gets a bit nasty.

F*%#$@ Weather
I had earmarked Sunday morning for land based fish. F*#@! that now. Looks like Saturday arvo (after I have done the shopping). Depends on how many brownie points I can accumulate between now and then

SSE
If it stays anywhere from the E to SSE that's perfect for me. And, a high tide in the arvo as well. Let's just hope it doesn't change its mind again........

Spearwood absolutely no
wind just the wind of a flock of white cockies wings visiting the neighbourhood, should be plenty of boats out today......can't wait to see the photos. Took the dog down the club last night and it was perfect, few boats out in club and public ramp, left about 9.00pm and a couple of boats come in.

atm!
Just goes to show that both BOM & Seabreeze struggle to get it right, the last 24 hours prior to that day is then deemed fairly accurate......that's about it!
Nice out there atm!
