Tikka 243 WIN Rifle

As the subject suggests I have a Tikka 243 WIN rifle for sale. It’s the T3x HUNTER model.

It presents as new despite me having owned it for probably around 30 years. I estimate in the order of 200 rounds have gone through it.

It comes with numerous accessories including three scopes of varying magnifications, bipod, lined bag and shoulder strap. In addition I have all the necessary RCBS reloading equipment for making your own ammo including press, 243 dies, scales, plus a quantity of brass cases, projectiles, primers, powder, miscellaneous tools and ammo boxes.

All up replacement cost today would be close to $4K but looking for much less than that.

Most reluctant sale due to WA’s new firearm ownership legislation.

Send me a private message for more details and pics.

It was a pleasure dealing with Nathan, communications were excellent. We exchanged many emails in the quest to satisfy the new WA requirements with respect to firearm ownership. The rifle is currently being held in storage by a gun shop pending Nathan’s license approval. Sadly my attempts to have my license extended for a month or two to avoid the storage situation failed. I had two phone discussions with the firearms dept and on each occasion they stated ‘Yes there is a process for extending your license but we are not processing any applications for extensions at this time.’ Fkn hopeless!!!

Another firearm I owned was surrendered to the police. The officers behind the counter noted I had legally owned the rifle for some 39 years and looked at me rather sheepishly when I asked them how many criminals or potential terrorists had surrendered their illegal / stolen firearms.

I have the greatest respect for the police but this whole firearms exercise or should I say debacle has left me somewhat bitter. I direct that bitterness fairly and squarely at the WA Labor Gov. and Police Commissioner at the time. Their left wing spin targeted legal firearm owners, thus disarming the public under the guise of ‘Keeping you Safe.’

THE NEW WA FIREARMS REGULATIONS AND / OR THE PROPOSED AUSTRALIA WIDE REGULATIONS WILL NOT PREVENT CRIMINALS, TERRORISTS OR THE LIKE OBTAINING GUNS. To think otherwise would be totally naïve imo.

Agree 100% Alan. They have done nothing but take licensed firearms from registered owners, firearms that were stored securely in gun safes.

Claiming they are taking guns off the streets is a joke, the illegal guns are still out there, criminals do not hand there firearms in.

For the first time in 57 years I am no longer a firearm owner, and just like many others I was never a threat to anyone.

The individuals that are a threat however are still armed...
