My mate sent these old photos of a Marlin with its bill stuck in a oil transfer pipe from a rig in Mexico

I don't think that bill is from the marlin in the first photo.

You'd have to be kidding yourself. that a marlin's bill would penetrate 6 layers of high strength rubber like that. It would bounce of that stuff. Maybe a job for mythbusters?
