stripping baskets?

does any one know where I can find a stripping basket (either in perth or on line)?

Flyworld should have a few. Bluewater Melville actually had some custom ones made for the saltwater flyrodders which are better though. Speak to Rohan and see if theres any still available (slim chance unfortnately).

 

Dont forget the cable ties.

is to rig up a cheap one and see if you like them first. personally I didn't like them. If they are your thing, then go and get a nice one. get like a cheap rubbermaid basket or the like, cable tie it to a belt and give it a bash.

 

FWIW some guys I went on a trip with all used Orvis which was moulded plastic with cones in it to prevent tangles - they did say they had to drill holes in to drain any water though. I tried it and as I said I didn't like it. No idea if you can buy them in australia though.
