hey theres been quite a lot of giant squid around out past rotto. i got a 11kg squid out in my 40ft boat. we were trolling 4 tuna and he took the lure, he must of been hungry if he took the lure. i think it was a fluke.

Sounds like a must have been one monster squid alright, would love to see a photo if you got one. Did it taste any good, would assume it to be pretty tough for the size and what sort of lure did it take?

Might catch one on a yozuri in the sound tonight! Prob was a cuttle fish. Never heard of one that big close to Perth. Show the pic if you have one I'd love to see that... ATB MAXY

squid
i got a photo on film but not on the computer. i caught it in a red head rapala. and it was a squid definetly not a cuttlefish.

man that guy must be such a
man that guy must be such a good fishermen, squid that size arent very common to catch in these waters though i did catch one that was 18 kilo no shit
