Split grip Sic Stik
Submitted by Blake.T. on Fri, 2008-06-13 13:34
I got bored yesterday arvo and decided to do a little project.
I snapped a Sic Stik Pro a couple of years ago and it has been lying around ever since, so i decided to give it a bit of a facelift (even though its useless anyway). So after some measuring, cutting, scraping and sanding of the cork, i came up with this.
Not to bad for an afternoons work hey.

Nah Colin #1, the rod is snapped about half way up the blank, so i can't use it. Thats the only reason why i tried it, i wouldn't try it on a perfectly good rod, unless i didn't pay for it lol.
Mako, how long ago did these use to be popular?

You young whipper snapper Blake
Maybe you can cut off the broken bit and use it as a boat rod.
