Soft Plastic

Hi all
Just chasing some advice on what knot you all use to tie your jig heads on for soft plastics?
For my jigs i use the AG Chain knot. I see a few people use the loop knot ( not sure of name ) for plastics is this better or should i just use a normal knot for jig heads. Mainly using Nitro Elavator heads.
Cheers Jayce

I think ( well my
I think ( well my understanding is) the loop knot allows the lure to move more freely than it would being "fixed" to the line.
i like to use a version of if for my poppers and some minnows.
Wether or not it has any extra advantages or not I'm not sure as same lure but using a "fixed" knot e.g a locked blood knot has produced the same
*shrugs* personal preference I guess,
does anyone know the strength rating of such loop knots?

Canoe man loop
I use the canoe man loop knot, it hasn't failed me yet and very simple.

Loop knots and Uni knots
When fixing your leader to Jigheads there are plenty of differing opinions as whats best. Out of personal experience when tying a loop knot to heavier jigheads like the Elevator heads we have had the line pinch and snap under a lot of pressure, So there for we tie a Uni knot direct to the jighead. With Elevator jigheads beacuse of the way they are designed they impart maximum movement anyway.
With light jigheads for Bream/Flathead and the likes either the loop knot or Uni knot will be suffice for the pressures that are applied.
